Diffusers are expensive not gonna lie and I am ALL about that budget life. When I heard that you could use a Himalayan Salt Lamp as diffuser + all the things it did for "cleansing your air" I was in pure skeptic mode...... like hardcore. I thought for sure this was just another aesthetic trend from the "non toxic" community and nothing more. Turns out I was SO WRONG and I have now been doing this for a few months and can fully attest, there is something to this and heres the science.
So there has been a TON of talk about ingredients, and buying "organic" skin care and all that jazz. But why is it worth it, and why is your "vegan" "creulty free" personal products not really as great and ethical as you think they are. I compiled a list of 7 of the top ingredients that are on my watch list when I am shopping, and why you need to avoid them.
Actual words spoken and thought by me a lot, and most likely you too. Every time I share my shopping link or some devastating fact about the ingredients in your favorite lipstick, I am certain eyes are rolled, sighs are sighed, and you scroll past it immediately. Partially you scroll because you think the "clean living movement" is a scam (a lot of it is which sucks) and the other part of you really does not want to know how bad your foundation or night cream really is. Ignorance is bliss after all right. What if I told you that the chances of your daughter having the ability to have children will go down or be eliminated just from key ingredients in everyday products.
Big, small, fun, hard, new, changes to help cultivate the difference you want to see in your new year.
The motto of this page is called quality over quantity and that is exactly the mindset I am going into this Christmas season with. Check out my $35 and under go to's for this festive season let's dive in!
There is one line that changed the way that I look at the products I bring into my home and interact with in daily life.
